Community event in support of First Nations culture and justice - free outdoor film night this coming Friday, 8 April, 6pm at Railway Reserve in Footscray.

Please join us for a free pop-up screening of Top End Wedding and performance by Caution – a Gamilaraay, Dunghutti and Gumbaynggirr writer, poet and hip-hop performer. This event has been organised by Justice Action Maribyrnong [JAM!] in partnership with Maribyrnong Council, Yarraville Community Centre and The Sun Theatre.

Daylight savings and the school term will have ended, so why not enjoy free music and a movie under the stars in support of First Nations culture and justice? The event will start at 6pm with a Welcome to Country, followed by music from Caution and the film starting at 7pm.

Pick up some take-away from one of Footscray's diverse range of restaurants or bring a picnic.

B.Y.O. blanket and/or seating.

This is an inclusive, family and dog friendly, no alcohol event.

Entry via Nicholson St near the railway bridge. See MAP for PARKING and TRAIN access.
