Kiama and Jamberoo Preschools Golf and Family Fun Day
Description
A fun day on the course and at the club, raising funds for Kiama and Jamberoo Preschools
Kiama and Jamberoo Community Preschools are independent community preschools that have been providing early-education services for families in our region for decades.
One of our main fundraising initiatives currently is for the new preschool building for Jamberoo Community Preschool, which is set to close in 2028 due to recurring flooding issues at the current location. We have now gratefully secured a land donation at a new site, and we're beginning to fundraise the money to build the new preschool building. This is a huge task, but every bit helps, and your support means a lot!
When and where:
Friday 23 October at Jamberoo Golf Club. Registration from 7,30am for an 8.30am start. An ambrose format event for golfers of every level, followed by an afternoon at Club Jamberoo (the Bowls club) for the whole family to join in.
What's included with golf?:
Cooked BBQ breakfast before the round
18 holes of golf, ambrose format, shotgun start
Catered lunch afterwards
Raffles, novelty hole events, and prizes for winners
Drinks available to purchase from the licensed bar
After golf (2.30pm-5pm):
We head next door to Club Jamberoo (the Bowls club) for the family fun day/afternoon where families and kids are invited for face painting, ice cream, fun and games and a sausage sizzle early dinner. We'll also host a charity auction - one the whole family can be part of!
Please note: no tickets or registrations are required for the Bowls club event. Simply turn up and enjoy!
Every dollar raised goes directly toward Kiama and Jamberoo Preshools
Can't play golf but want to help? Sponsor a hole, sponsor some of the catering, donate a prize, make a general donation, or come along to the Bowls Club for a social afternoon with other families. Every bit helps.
It should be a great day out for all involved. We hope to see you on the course or at the club afterwards!
