James Donald | Firesides Album Launch

James Donald is retroactively launching his Christian Album "Firesides" - and launching a new single off of the NEW 2026 Folk Album on the same night to boot!

James Donald is an Australian acoustic guitarist and bassist who believes that one's music shouldn't be confined to any one genre of music. From Jazz, to Folk, to Worship Music, James has released a broad range of styled albums to date and shows no sign of slowing down.

James' live shows are characterised by intimate settings where he sings his story-telling folk songs, accompanied by his loop pedal to make a one-man-band performance for the ages.

Firesides was released in 2021 in the midst of COVID, and so a proper launch gig for the album was unable to be held, but that all changes tonight! Playing with a band of Piano and Cajon behind him, this launch is sure to have the perfect amount of intimacy for your chill Saturday night.

James will cap the night off with a performance of his latest single releasing tonight "Float Away"! This will be the last released single in support of the new Folk album release coming next year: "Wanderlust", with his last single being "Falling In Reverse".

The launch will be held at James' own church: Cabramatta Baptist Church. Unfortunately, the front hall of the building is in disrepair and has been falling down for the last few years, so in support of this, 2/3rds of the ticket sales will be going to assist in the repairs of the building, and any extra donations to this effort are sincerely appreciated - though not compulsory, of course!

So come along for a great night of chill acoustic Christian music, in addition to James' usual folk loop-pedal one-man-band tunes as well!
