Serving your fellow human beings is one of the highest orders of action that one can take on the planet.

Now is a great time to take part in community building and supporting our brothers and sisters in Jamaica as they rebuild vital infrastructure and recover from the recent devastation of Hurricane Melissa.

As we face unprecedented global catastrophes, from Gadigal Land to the Caribbean Seas and beyond, we are all in this together.

What better way to strengthen our collective resilience than through the power of music, art, community fundraising, collective conscious action and delicious Jamaican food?

Please come and join us at The Red Rattler Theatre on Friday 12th December for a night of Live Music, DJs, Poets and Panel Discussion: "We The Environment". Doors open at 6.30pm

About The Kilmarnock Bounce Back Plan:

Location: Kilmarnock is a rural district with over 200 farming families situated specifically on the border of North West St. Elizabeth and Eastern Westmoreland. It is located near the community of New Market.

Emprezz Golding is charged by the community of Kilmarnock to act as their community relief and rebuild mobilizer.

All funds raised by Jammin' 4 Jamaica will go towards support packages co-ordinated by Emprezz Golding, such as:

The Build Strong Bundle Inventory.

Construction Materials

• 500 6-Inch Blocks

• 50 Bags of Cement

• 30 Yards of Wash Sand

• 30 Yards of Gravel

• 1 Ton of 1/2 Inch Steel

Lumber & Plywood

• 20 Lengths of 2x4x14 (Lumber)

• 20 Sheets of 5x8 Ply

Hardware & Fasteners

• 50 lb Binding Wire

• 10 lb 2 1/2 Inch Nails

Bonus Item

• 1 FREE Water Tank (400 Gallon capacity)

Total Bundle Price: $10,000 USD ($15,300 AUD) - not inclusive of trucking to Kilmarnock.

Immediate Needs (ASAP)

• Tarpaulin (heavy-duty). All sizes needed. To provide Shelters for temporary housing : UV-resistant if possible.

• Hardware: Nails, hammers for simple shelter/build repairs

• Stable guns and boards

• Structural shelter materials, Zinc

• Solar lights: Lighting for areas without electricity ther is no electricity anywhere: Battery/solar-powered preferred; consider durable fixtures, Solar Street Lights

• Generators: Provide power to as many homes as possible. Portable, fuel-efficient models; plan fuel supply

• Dry ice: Perishables/medical needs

Restart Package for the Farmers:

Farmers reported losses of cabbage, yam, sweet potato, pepper, sorrel, peas, and livestock such as chickens, goats, and cattle.
