Would you like to spend the day in the beautiful Gold Coast hinterlands and get a free workout?
Do you want to roll up your sleeves and get hands-on with a project that promotes land restoration and resilience against drought? Then mark your calendars because we have an exciting event coming up that you won’t want to miss!
At Mindroom, we believe small steps contribute to the bigger picture and we believe that every action counts. If this sounds like you, then join us for a working bee day at Jandarra Farm in the picturesque Tallebudgera Valley. This event is one in a series of events we will host in celebration of World Environment Day on June 5th.
Join us for a day of meaningful work and camaraderie
Together with the Mindroom team, you’ll have the opportunity to engage in various activities around the farm. It’s a chance to learn new skills, connect with like-minded individuals, and connect with your local ecosystem
Event Details:
Date: 28th April 2024 (Sunday)
Time: 9 am – 12 pm (9 am – 11 am hands-on), followed by a delightful picnic
Location: Jandarra Farm – 264 Petsch Creek Rd, Tallebudgera Valley QLD 4228

What to Bring:
- Your water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the day
- Sunscreen to protect your skin from the Australian sun
- A small shared dish if you wish to contribute to our picnic spread
- Comfortable clothing suitable for outdoor work
- Don’t forget to bring a hat or cap to shield yourself from the sun’s rays
We’ll provide light refreshments to keep you energised as you work alongside fellow students and members of the Mindroom community. It’s set to be a rewarding and enjoyable day out in nature, where your efforts will contribute to a greener, more sustainable future for all.
