Event description

Get a glimpse of the hidden infrastructure of early working-class life via the cobble stone laneways of South Melbourne. Join a guided walk to explore behind Albert Park's elegant terraces and shops and find the pieces that tell stories of early working-class life, such as chimneys, drains, thunderboxes, pitchers and cast-iron.

Meet Meyer at St Vincent Gardens playground, corner Merton Street and St Vincent Place South, Albert Park. This walk will take place along Albert Park’s footpaths and laneways there may some uneven surfaces along the way.
