Morawa January 2023 - Holiday Music Workshops

Looking for a creative outlet for the kiddos this school holidays?

Join us for 4 free music making workshops over the January 2023 holiday break in Morawa.

Along with our friendly facilitators, we will explore music making, developing a song and even a little bit of recording!

These workshops are suitable for kids of all musical abilities - especially those with no experience! Each workshops is a great introduction to songwriting, music play and working in a group to collaborate and co-create a song.

We will explore a little bit of group brain storming, jamming out with LOTS of different instruments and having fun along the way.

All musical instruments are provided for these sessions.

PARENTS PLEASE ENSURE THE CORRECT DATE/TIME IS SELECTED WHEN REGISTERING FOR YOUR CHILD'S TICKET. THIS WILL ENABLE CHILDREN TO ATTEND THE MOST AGE-APPROPRIATE SESSION.

Morawa Workshop Dates:

Thursday 19th January 2023:

• 10am-11.30am: 5-7 year olds
• 1pm-2.30pm: 11-14 year olds

Friday 20th January 2023:

• 10am-11.30am: 8-10 year olds
• 1pm-2.30pm: 15-18 year olds

Important Note on volume sensitivity:

Please note that these workshops can get very loud with all of instruments being played simultaneously for a portion of these workshops, and would not be suitable for children who are highly sensitive to noise/ loud sounds.

These workshops are free, thanks to funding from the Shire of Morawa and Morawa Youth Centre, in partnership with Regional Sounds.
