Simplicity, nature and balance act as guiding principles in this ParkArts workshop. Learn step by step how to create your own Japanese style platter with clay surrounded by the delightful environment of Centennial Park.

Once platters have been formed, texture and pattern can be added using found objects in nature such as seed pods and leaves. Colour can also be added using underglazes.

All materials will be supplied for this workshop, but please bring an apron or old shirt to protect your clothes. Completed works will be fired at Waverley Woollahra Art School in Bondi and will be ready for collection three weeks later.
