Jason Owen presents The Country Road To Christmas

JASON OWEN PRESENTS

THE COUNTRY ROAD TO CHRISTMAS

All the Classics with Christmas Cheer

This Christmas, Australian country music favourite Jason Owen brings a special night of music, memories and festive cheer to Avoca Beach Theatre with The Country Road to Christmas.

Jason first captured the nation's attention as runner-up on The X Factor Australia in 2012. Since then, the country boy from the tiny NSW town of Albert - population 12 - has built an enduring career across recording, touring, television and live entertainment.

His debut album Life Is A Highway reached #5 on the ARIA Albums Chart and #1 on the ARIA Country Albums Chart. Across his career Jason has released five studio albums, performed on major stages around Australia and co-hosted the prestigious Golden Guitar Awards in 2020, 2022 and 2024. His career has also included memorable national television appearances and performances alongside some of Australia's most recognised entertainers.

Jason has developed an enormous online audience by putting his own warm, acoustic spin on the timeless songs people grew up with. His music and performance videos have generated well over 100 million views across social media, with hundreds of thousands of followers enjoying his renditions of country favourites, rock 'n' roll classics, great ballads and unforgettable hits from the '60s, '70s, '80s and beyond.

The Country Road to Christmas brings that same up-close-and-personal feeling to the stage. It's a relaxed, nostalgic and uplifting concert filled with great songs, stories, singalong moments and plenty of Christmas cheer.

Audiences can expect a journey through some of the greatest country and classic songs of all time, mixed with much-loved Christmas favourites. From heartfelt ballads and country standards to songs that instantly take you back to another time and place, it's a show built around music that means something.

Away from music, Jason is the founder of Doin' It For Rural Aussie Kids (DIRAK), established in 2019 to support children and families throughout rural and regional Australia. His commitment to the bush remains an important part of who he is and the story he brings to the stage.

From growing up in a town of just 12 people to national television, chart success, major Australian stages and an online audience reaching millions, Jason has never lost the down-to-earth connection that has become a hallmark of his live shows.

This December, join Jason for an intimate night of timeless classics, stories, memories and Christmas favourites - a celebration of the songs we love and the most wonderful time of the year.
