Past Participant Highlights
“Being taught by a phenomenal array of tutors fundamentally changed the way I think about jazz and improvisation, and also rekindled my love of it. I would absolutely recommend the camp for anyone who sees jazz and important part of their musical practice, even if one does not intend to pursue specifically jazz in the future, as the skills learnt are deeply transferable.”
“The Jazz and Improvisation Winter Camp was such a fun and inspiring experience. The teachers were amazing and I loved playing and improvising with other musicians. I got so much out of the full-day program. It was absolutely worth the travel. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves jazz and wants to grow as a musician.”
“J&I is what gives you the motivation to pursue in music”
“It is an experience that you won't forget. Perfect for anybody who has a passion for any kind of music.”Hear from our current students who participated in J&I Winter Camp 2025:

PARKING
Parking control hours around the Southbank Campus are 7am–10pm, everyday, and are capped at three hours. A $2-per-hour fee after 7pm is also now in place. There is no change to the $4-per-hour peak rate between 7am–7pm. Parking inspectors are regularly in the area fining drivers who overstay their meter, so we encourage everyone to be aware and avoid an expensive fine.
