8PM — Opening Act: Eshan Sharma Trio + Friends
Formed through high school, the trio brings together a shared love of blues, R&B and blues rock, with soulful grooves, gritty guitar-led sounds and energetic performances. Special guests Remy Grutzner on saxophone and Ryan Sherwood on vocals join the trio for a night of feel-good rhythms, bluesy riffs and plenty of soul.
9PM — Main Act: Aryan Shehran Sextet
The Melbourne-based sextet brings together jazz standards, original music and modern compositions, exploring both the tradition and contemporary side of jazz. Led by trombonist Aryan Shehran, the group creates an engaging live sound shaped by melodic phrasing, expression and improvisation. Aryan’s influences include Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Kurt Rosenwinkel and Elliot Mason.
