JB Paterson is a roving blue-collar songwriter and producer. Inspired by traditional folk & blues music, appropriating ancient melodies with a strong focus on lyrics performed on guitar and piano. Compared to songwriters Neil Young, Townes Van Zandt and Bob Dylan.
JB recently achieved #1 Album of The Year by ‘Songpickr’ and landed a cover and 5 page spread in local music magazine ‘The Stew’.
In late 2022 he signed to Holiday Maker Records and released his 3rd LP ‘Springtime is Coming’ to great response with heavy rotation on ABC Country and Double J.
JB has shared the stage with Mark Lanegan, Steve Kilbey (The Church), Darren Hanlon, Jade Bird, Gabriella Cohen, The Audreys, and many more.
