Dear Landcare volunteers and supporters,
You are invited to gather for a delicious home cooked middle eastern meal with dessert. This event is a great chance to catch up with similar minded volunteers and learn what else is happening in the Landcare world.

WHEN: Friday, 29th Nov at 5pm (for a 5:10 pm start)..come, you will be glad you did.

Our guest speaker is Sonia Graham – For those that haven't met Sonia, she is a social scientist at the University of Wollongong, and has been studying how Landcare groups in south-east NSW work together to manage weeds. She will talk about what she has been learning, the common challenges and secrets to success.

Landcare Group Check-in (2min each) - We will then invite a representative from each Landcare group to stand up and share an update and/or tell us what support they might like from FSCLA or our partners to make their volunteering more enjoyable!

Speed AGM - The formal presentation will end with an AGM, we are now quite skilled at keeping this under 6 minutes! If you are interested in joining the Committee please contact Jean (mail@fscla.org.au) for a nomination form and any info you might need to understand how the FSCLA Committee functions.

Dinner at 6:30-ish - The timing will depend a little on the number of Landcare group check-ins. We value the informal dining part of the part of the night as it allows volunteers to meet and connect. We're planning on serving a home-cooked meal and dessert, please BYO drinks. There will be delicious vegetarian and GF options available, but please let us know if you have other food intolerances.
