Jerikye is "an enthralling performer crossing all age groups and genres. A young Wiradjuri singer and guitarist, he is a natural showman who lights up any stage.
He plays classics like Roy Orbison and his own compositions. At twenty, he embodies the spirit of great artists with effortless musicianship and charisma – reaching the operatic highs and the low notes.
Gunning Focus Group is delighted to host Jerikye's concert as part of the 2023 NAIDOC week celebrations.
Gunning has all the makings for a delightful afternoon out. The village is within easy reach of Goulburn, Yass and Canberra. It has three good cafes for pre-concert dining plus art, craft and antique shops within an appealing historic streetscape.
