Jersey City Connects Presents: A Murder Mystery at Ravenwood Manor!

THE STORY

Welcome to Ravenwood Manor, where the crisp November air mingles with the scent of roasted vegetables, apple pies, and warm cider. The manor is aglow with candlelight as Lord Henry Ravenwood, the controversial and wealthy landowner, hosts his annual Autumn Harvest Feast. The gathering is meant to unite the community, but long-buried secrets, feuds, and rivalries are about to resurface.

Just as the evening’s feast begins, a scream echoes through the manor—Lord Ravenwood is found dead in the study, his body cold but the fire still burning bright. Suspicion spreads quickly, as it becomes clear that nearly every guest has a motive. Trapped in the manor by a looming storm, it’s up to you to work together, uncover the truth, and expose the killer.

YOUR ROLE

As an honored guest at the manor, you’ll be assigned a character to play—whether it’s a close family member, a rival landowner, or a mysterious stranger with secrets of your own. Piece together the clues, interrogate fellow guests and trust no one as the night unfolds.

EVENT DETAILS

6:30 PM: Check-in and character assignments

7:45 PM: The murder is discovered!

8:15 PM: Guests vote for the killer—solve the mystery before time runs out!

Light snacks and refreshments will be served throughout the evening. Can you uncover the truth, or will the killer remain hidden in the shadows?
