Join Jersey City Connects for a scenic 10-mile kayak trip in the Lehigh River!

WHAT TO EXPECT

You'll be paddling your own inflatable kayak through sections of the Lehigh River that whitewater rafters don't even get access to. Pro river guides stick with the group the whole time, so if you fall in, someone's there to get you back in your boat.

EVENT DETAILS

7:30AM: Meet inside Le Cafe Coffee (444 Warren St)

7:40AM: Depart

9:55AM: Arrive at Jim Thorpe

10:30AM to 3:30PM: Kayak

4:00PM: Early dinner in Jim Thorpe

5:30PM: Head back

7:30PM: Arrive in Jersey City

WHAT'S INCLUDED

All kayak gear + life jacket
Shuttle to Jim Thorpe and back
Professional river guides
Lunch (sandwich, snacks, water)
- Sandwich options: PB&J, Ham or Turkey

PACKING LIST

Sunglasses + hat
Closed-toe water shoes
Swimsuit (wear under clothes)
Long sleeve rashguard (optional)
Waterproof phone pouch
Dry bag
Sunscreen
Water bottle (optional)

Please bring a change of clothes and a towel, which will be left in the van.
