Is your thumb getting sore from swiping on dating apps? You’re not alone. Many people would rather meet IRL! Try out your real-world conversation skills at a speed dating event hosted by Jersey City Connects, and have a meet-cute with a special somebody.

• You’re single

• You’re between 27 and 34

• You’re tired of Hinge deciding who you’re compatible with 😅

• You’re ready to meet someone IRL

WHAT TO EXPECT

You’ll go on a series of 14 mini dates, each about 5 minutes long.

Throughout the night, you’ll keep track of who you’d like to see again. 👀

At the end of the night, hand your match card to your host, and we’ll take it from there!

You’ll get your results the following day. If you both chose each other, it’s a match, and we’ll connect you.

Never been to speed dating before? That’s totally fine. We’ll walk everyone through how it works before we get started. All you have to do is show up. 💛
