    Jesse Witney

Jesse Witney is touring his latest body of work 'Animal Cities', an eclectic 11 track album recorded between Melbourne and Rio de Janeiro. Mixing soul, roots and Brazilian influences, Jesse's performances are intricate, intimate, courageous and enlivening. Festival highlights include Woodford Folk Festival, Splendour in the Grass and his music has been played on JJJ, Radio National, PBS and RAGE. His live show includes guitar wizardry on the Nylon and Electric guitar, harmonica, melodica and topped off with a voice akin to Jeff Buckley and Paulo Nutini. When Jesse plays, you want to lean in, listen deep and sip on some old-fashioned truth with him. A Jesse Witney live show is very good medicine. For this particular show, he will be joined by his brother Matty on bass, guitar and backing vocals and Jo McDermott on drums and percussion.

    Matty Witney (aka Dried Spider)

After 8 years of being involved in the Chicago music scene with his band ‘Dried Spider’, Matty Witney has returned to Australia to pursue a life where the cultivation of inner-peace comes first. While in Chicago he collaborated with many of the city's brightest musicians, and has multiple recordings due for release in 2025. Matty will be presenting a swag of new songs that are melodically intricate and speak to the unexpectedness of life’s journey.
