Give new life to old treasures in this creative jewellery upcycling workshop at the Coal Loader Centre for Sustainability.

Join artist Bridget Kennedy to transform broken, forgotten or unwanted costume jewellery into unique wearable pieces. Using a colourful collection of reclaimed beads, chains and decorative elements, you'll learn simple techniques to redesign and create earrings, bracelets, necklaces, key chain fobs or other one-of-a-kind accessories.

Whether you're an experienced maker or trying jewellery-making for the first time, this relaxed, hands-on workshop is suitable for all skill levels. All tools and materials are provided, including tonnes of broken and unloved jewellery to choose from. Participants can also bring along any broken or unloved costume jewellery they'd like to reinvent.
