A Jewish Journey through Broadway: Part 1 1920-1980 honors those amazing Jewish composers who helped transform American musical theater through their beloved songs and shows. Part 1 explores the early years of Broadway, from Showboat to Follies, from Porgy and Bess to Annie. Your favorite composers whose music will want you to sing along include Rodgers and Hammerstein, Jerome Kern, Stephen Sondheim, Bock and Harnick, Jerry Herman and so many more. A special tribute to the universally beloved Fiddler on the Roof will be a highlight of this show, performed by professional singers and musicians from New York City.
Tickets: $25. No one turned away for lack of funds.
