Join Uralla-based singer songwriter Jhana Allan and local artist Areta for an intimate night of storytelling magic.

Jhana is that rare combination of a musician who has a deep understanding of roots music and yet brings an entirely original perspective with her songwriting, mandolin playing, and fearless arrangement ideas. While her debut album Darkest Night shows her ability to live comfortably in the neo-traditional bluegrass world, her new EP Passing Shadow pushes those elements even further towards her own, completely compelling sound; rooted in her own experience, and reflective of the contemporary folk, rock sounds of Australia. Recently returned from recording her sophomore album in Nashville, Tennessee, 2024 is promising to be a fruitful year.

Areta is a singer-songwriter who weaves confessional and autobiographical narratives through multi-layered lyricism. Her melancholic and poetic style is inspired by artists such as Ani Difranco and Paul Dempsey. Her voice draws emotions from the listener that reverberate long after the performance has finished.
