Jhana Allan Fake Paradise Tour

In August 2024 Uralla-based singer-songwriter and multi instrumentalist Jhana Allan released her sophomore album, titled ‘Fake Paradise’. The project was recorded in Nashville in 2023, under the guidance of her mentor and producer, Americana artist Rachel Baiman. 

Themes of desire, addiction, and awareness of the artist’s own need for prioritising rest, forms the backdrop of this shape-shifting release. 
Drawing inspiration from musicians like The Weather Station, Sam Amidon, PJ Harvey, and Lucie Thorne, the album moves through folk, jazz, and rock soundscapes, retaining a throughline of Allan’s visceral and emotive writing and singing, and grounded by her layered vocal presence.

Jhana is joined by phenomenal guitarist Tom Kneebone (The Audreys).
