TEACHERS!
An event such as this cannot go ahead without volunteer support and we are currently seeking teacher volunteers to help supervise group activities and facilitate 1:1 conversation practice for students. For those teachers amongst you who are part of examination setting, writing and marking (including oral exams) please know that we have checked with the SACE Board and it is absolutely fine for you to be involved with Kaiwa no Hi, as long as you do not divulge to the students or other teachers that you are involved in the exam process. This is oral conversation practice for the Year 12s, not a mock exam, so there is no conflict of interest. We would welcome the help of any teachers, particularly those with experience teaching the senior levels, so if you are available and interested in helping, please email Megan Lock (megan.lock@nazareth.catholic.edu.au) with your contact details.
