The Guitar Essentials workshop is designed for young guitarists aspiring to build a career in music. This comprehensive session covers the must-have skills and knowledge necessary for success in the industry. Participants will delve into key areas such as: Knowledge: Understanding scales and chords. Mastering the CAGED system for fretboard navigation. Gear: Overview of different types of guitars, pedals, and effects. Guidance on what gear to use and when to use it. Etiquette: Essential do's and don'ts for professional gigs. Interactive Jamming: Live jamming sessions with tracks provided by JMC alumni. Participants are encouraged to bring their guitars for a hands-on learning experience. A booklet covering the workshop content will be included. This workshop offers a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical skills, providing a solid foundation for budding guitarists. Please bring your own guitar.
