Explore Joanna Poulson's garden and art studio located in Prospect, South Australia.
Visitors will have the opportunity to view Joanna's studio, completed paintings, works in progress and the garden surrounding the studio.
Joanna's paintings are inspired by the flowering plants in her garden. She is always adding new flowering plants, seeing what grows well and what works best as a composition for her paintings.
Photographic elements are key to Joanna's paintings and she will share with visitors how she captures the shallow depth of field (blurry backgrounds) that she then translates into oils on canvas. She will also share information about her oil painting process.
This is a free event with attendees welcome to come any time during the opening hours.
