John James Audubon Center Foray -- July 2024

**This event is free and open to everyone. The PMC is funded entirely through donations. If you are able, please consider giving an amount of your choice at checkout**

Meet us outside the visitors center at 1pm on SATURDAY 7/20. After a brief introduction we will break into groups to look for mushrooms. If it is your first time and/or you feel like you need guidance you will be able to follow more experienced members/volunteers. If comfortable hiking alone or with your party, feel free to do so, the more we split up, the more mushrooms we'll find! 

At 2pm we will all meet back at the starting point to identify and talk about what we found and have a little picnic. Feel free to bring a snack or drink too, we will provide light refreshments for everyone.  Please note, cell phone service may be limited. 

Close-toed shoes and long pants are recommended due to poison ivy and ticks. Children are welcome to attend. Dogs are not permitted at the Center as it is a bird sanctuary and we ask that you please respect this.
