Three distinctive voices in American roots music come together for an intimate night at Parkside Lounge. Birmingham’s Taylor Hollingsworth brings his electrifying one-man “Folk n’ Roll” show, blending virtuosic guitar playing, foot percussion, blues, folk, and raw rock ’n’ roll. John Pronto delivers soulful, deeply personal Americana rooted in love, heartache, struggle, and redemption. Brooklyn’s Wiley Gaby rounds out the bill with tear-stained vocals and classic country storytelling reimagined through a queer lens. Hollingsworth and Gaby are labelmates at Dial Back Sound, the independent Water Valley, Mississippi label and studio helmed by Matt Patton of Drive-By Truckers and the Dexateens.
