MAYDAY / MAYDAY FOR JULIAN ASSANGE!!!
John Shipton, Julian's father, will speak on the current state of play: how we can be in active solidarity with Julian and how we can push the tepid behaviour of the Australian government into robust international policies based on truth and human rights - in accordance with recognized international law!
Julian Assange committed no crime! He did what good journalists do: he exposed crimes committed by others.
Destroying Julian - mentally, physically, emotionally, intellectually and by extradition to the US, Julian faces a lonely, lingering death in a US supermax prison if extradited to the US.
Julian's "crime" was holding the blowtorch of truth - as per the US' own factual data! - to the underbelly of the US's war crimes..... its planned instigation of mass murder and communal destruction of people in another country.
All illegal under international law, but sitting nicely inside the envelope of the so-called "rules based international order".
