Overview
Overview: At 19, Leanne acquired a disability that changed the direction of her life. Through wheelchair basketball she rebuilt her identity from the ground up, going on to play 164 games for the Australian Gliders across three World Championships, captain her country, and win Silver at the London 2012 Paralympic Games.
Today Leanne shares those lessons with organisations navigating change, uncertainty and growth — speaking with a rare mix of honesty, humour and emotional intelligence on resilience, vulnerability, leadership and what it truly means to be seen. She is also the co-founder of PlayOn, a program empowering women and girls with disabilities through wheelchair basketball, and a solo mum by choice who lives her message that everyone matters and no one gets left behind.
