Jordan Briton 'Slow Burn' Album Launch

Queensland Music Award-winning artist Jordan Briton launches his debut album “Slow Burn” at Mirror Ball Ministries, West End, on Wednesday 18th November.

It's been a huge year of building to this night. Since May, Jordan has released “Slow Burn” one single at a time - each a new chapter. First came ‘Satellite’, a song about a long-distance love that landed on Spotify's ‘Jasmine’ editorial playlist. Then ‘Fever Dream’, a late-night breakup song set against the sights of New York. Third came the disco-club banger ‘Neon Lights’ (feat. Ander Kinnara), and most recently Jordan’s stripped-back ballad ‘Loving You’, with two more singles on the way before the album arrives in full.

With honest songwriting as its foundation and warm R&B/soul as its musical world, “Slow Burn” is Jordan’s most personal work yet. To help create this world, Jordan has been working closely with producer Sam Woods (JUNO, Mid Drift, Lyric, Dizzy Days), with the album mastered by Sam Brawner at Blue Dream Studios, L.A (Mac Ayres, Moonchild, Anderson .Paak).

“Slow Burn” builds on the success of ‘Make It So Easy’ (feat. JUNO), which picked up Spotify's ‘Crush’ playlist, passed 350,000 streams, earned triple j airplay and a Rage rotation, and won Best Music Video at the 2024 Queensland Music Awards. It marked Jordan's third year of QMA nominations, after ‘Lights Out’ (feat. Roman MC) in 2023 and Most Promising Male Singer-Songwriter back in 2017.

His debut headline show in late 2024 at ‘Can You Keep A Secret’ sold out fast, and with a 2027 tour already in the works, “Slow Burn” marks just the beginning of a new chapter for Jordan Briton.

Jordan will be joined by his full six-piece band: Darran Muller (drums), Daniel Khoury (keys), Matty Cook (bass), Hemi Time (guitar) and Sara McLean (backing vocals and saxophone). Alongside the album, they'll be playing old favourites ‘Throwback’, ‘Lights Out feat. Roman MC’ and ‘Binary Blues’.
