This coming Queen's Birthday weekend (4- 7 June) dress up in your finery and join us for a night of showcases and dancing at the 2021 Dunedin Midwinter Swing Festival! Whether you're a local or just visiting, this is the perfect event to celebrate swing and blues!

Get your glad rags on and step back in time for a dance with Josephine! She's a bonnie green steam locomotive who began her career on the Dunedin-Port Chalmers Railway in 1872. She's currently making the entrance to Toitū Museum look pretty snazzy.

With more rinky tinky and jingle jangle than you know what to do with, our festival house band, The Rinky Tinky Jingle Jangle Jazz Club, will take you back to the jazz era, so you can let off some steam.

New to dance? A taster class to teach you the basics opens the event at 7:00pm.
