Josie Hurley Album Fundraiser Backyard Show

I'm making an album! I have a projects worth of songs to record that are near and dear to my heart. Songs written in the last three years that encapsulate all that I am and have to say.  It has been my biggest goal and aspiration for some time now to give life to these songs of my experience. Things are finally rolling, the ice is finally thawing. The album will soon be made!

To do that, I’m asking for some help! Studio/mixing fees and compensating my lovley band for all their amazing work for a full album is a big deal, so I’m reaching out to the community to ask for support, and what better way than to throw a party! In my own backyard!

On the 18th of July, in my backyard in Marrickville, on Gadigal country

4pm: Doors will open. Picnic in the last hour of beautiful sunlight by the river

5pm: Mid-air station

6pm Harriet Bennet

7pm Josie Hurley Band, in the debut performance of their fullest iteration, will be performing songs from the upcoming album, some never heard before.

To guide us through a midwinter Afternoon/Evening of spirit and song.

Expect music and art! And some extra activities to be announced! And blankets and tea but also dance! Support my project while supporting yourself ! Come on down !
