Journaling with the labyrinth.

This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

Join me for an introduction to labyrinth walking and journal making.

The labyrinth is an ancient pattern found in many countries and cultures around the world.
It has only one path that leads from the outer edge in a circuitous way to the centre. The person walking it uses the same path to return from the centre and the entrance then becomes the exit.

Walking the Labyrinth quiets the mind, opens the heart and grounds the body ... Some find answers to questions long asked, some find creativity and a sense of wholeness.

What to expect

We will:

  • Learn a brief history of the labyrinth and how walking a labyrinth can be beneficial for wellbeing.
  • Walk a temporary outdoor labyrinth I will construct prior to the event.
  • We will make a simple no stitching journal to use for journaling our labyrinth walk.
  • Learn to draw various finger labyrinths.

No labyrinth experience or journal making skills necessary.

Small group workshop - maximum will be 6 attendees.

As part of this workshop will be outdoors, please dress accordingly for the weather.
