    EmpowHER - Connecting Selwyn Ethnic Women

    In celebration of International Womens day, Selwyn District Council in partnership with Connected are offering a free one-day seminar.

    Supporting Ethnic Women in our Selwyn Community, this is an opportunity to discover next steps in life and work.   If you're thinking about entering the kiwi workforce, gaining confidence, networking or getting connected - this is the event for you. 

    We are delighted to have Lu Hunter of Peas Project and Amanda Smidt of The Career Development Company as keynote speakers. 

    • Entering the Workplace 
    • Finding Your Core Values and Confidence
    • Networking with other ethnic woman in the community
    • Q & A in a safe place with woman who have learnt how to get ahead.
