JOURNEY TOWARD MANHOOD
Event description
For Boys 12-15 & their Support Male Adult (Father, Uncle, Guardian, etc.)
Join us for two days of enquiry into this important journey. What is to be a boy? What is it to be a man? This is our opportunity to take a step back from the mundane world to look seriously at this process, to consider this fundamental transition - its gifts and challenges. And have a lot of fun along the way.
As we create an intergenerational supportive culture we will consider the relationships that we may hold within the self, the family and the wider community - while sharing an abundance of laughter, nature’s beauty and good food.
Although this is not a formal Rite of Passage to Manhood, it is an opportunity for our boys and men to consider their preparedness for such a Rite and to consider the questions and opportunities that may arise. When, where and with whom would they like to mark the step to manhood?
