@EventName. Before you dine, here's what you need to know:

How does the secret location work?

On the day of the event, you and your group must all be within easy reach of Tauranga CBD. The location is a 5 minute drive from there and no, we are not telling you in which direction!

We will email and text you with the secret location at 5pm, two hours before the event. Please make sure you save this email to your contacts so it doesn't go into your spam.

Read and follow the instructions carefully. We will be organising a staggered entry between 6.45 and 7pm. When you receive your text/email, it will let you know what time to arrive. Please don't be early or late, just right on time.

If you do not receive an email or text message by 5.15pm, call KTHQ on 022 369 8334.

Got dietary requirements?

We can cater for the following dietaries. Please note we cannot cater for any other specific requirements.

* Gluten free
* Plant Based
* Vegetarian
* No fish
* No shellfish - such as shrimp, crab, lobster, squid, oysters and scallops. Please specify if it is a specific shellfish allergy.
* Pescatarian
* Nut allergy - please specify the types of nuts
* No red meat

To update your dietary requirements, please find your booking email, click on 'Edit Order' and update your dietary requirements on the tickets.

We need to know any dietary requirements 72 hours prior or we will not be able to accommodate you.

How does the secret Santa work?

Because Noël is a time for giving, and Kitchen Takeover is known for our love of bringing the community together, we are asking each diner that attends to bring a secret Santa foodie gift that is either brewed, baked, picked, pickled, preserved or anything in between. We will get you to hand these to us when you arrive and then we will hand them out during the evening.

What should I wear?

The most important question! Dress for a festive French feast. As it is silly season, we are encouraging diners to dress up but this is not mandatory.

Do I need to print a ticket?

No, save some trees. We will be expecting you.

What measures are we taking to prevent the spread of Covid-19?

All of our cleaning policies and the other steps we are taking to prevent the spread of the virus our COVID-19 policy can be found here.

Please do not attend this event if you are experiencing flu-like symptoms or have a member of your household experiencing flu-like symptoms. Your ticket can be transferred to friends or whānau. We cannot offer a refunds.

Fancy a tipple?

We will be operating a bar with all the usual suspects - a large selection of wines, craft beer and alcohol free beverages. Please do not BYO. A drinks match will also be available to order on the night - 4 glasses perfectly paired to your degustation.

The event will finish around 10.00pm. If you are drinking, please ensure you have organised a safe way of getting home. Either book an Uber or Dial a Driver. We can organise a taxi for you upon request.

Want to sit next to someone who booked tickets separately...?

All the tickets you have paid for under one booking will be seated together as a group. However, if you have friends who are attending on the same night who have booked tickets separately, flick us an email and we will sit you together. Please ensure you do this 48 hours prior or we can not guarantee your seating together.

What about taking photos...?

Sharing location details is a big NO NO. Photos can be taken in the designated photo booth area. You can share #foodporn to give your mates the #FOMO but please refrain from describing what is on your plate. We don't want to ruin the surprise for everyone else. Please ensure all guests in your group are made aware. Loose lips, sink ships.
