Event description

We warmly invite you to JRS Australia’s Refugee Leadership Showcase Event for 2025. This year, leaders from the Refugee Leadership Program will be sharing presentations and performances on the Refugee Week theme ‘Finding Freedom: Diversity in Community’.

Expect a night of impactful stories, art and music shared by refugee leaders of JRS Australia’s Refugee Leadership Program. This year’s theme ‘Diversity in Community’, allows us to reflect on the kinds of community and society we want, and work together to build a space of belonging for everyone. Let’s come together as a community to celebrate and hear from refugee leaders and their display of strength and leadership on the night.

A hearty Persian dinner will be provided which are prepared by JRS clientele. We invite you to contribute $10 to cover the costs of dinner or more if you can and consider supporting the JRS Refugee Leadership Program.
