JS HOUSE DRAGON BOAT RACE

Junior School students have been immersed in the fables and cultural activities associated with the very

popular Chinese Dragon Boat Festival. We are all looking forward to a celebration on Friday 21 June 2024

with a special House Dragon Boat Race.

Prep to Year 6 students will be participating in the dragon boat races in their House groups. 

There will also be House chants and novelty races (such as students vs teachers vs parents races) to round up the day.

The event will start at 2:30pm, with the announcement of the House champions at approximately 3:30pm.

All activities will be held at the Mentone Girls’ Grammar Playing Fields.

Parents and carers are welcomed to watch the races.

Please sign in at the Junior School Reception by 2:20pm so we can guide you to the playing fields.
