Event description
Buffaloes cross the northern end of the continent, undermining the paperbark forests and being seasonally fired on by helicopters. Their horns hang over the door of a lime green building on High Street. A club set up as an extension of a fraternity established by stagehands who were upset that the actors wouldn’t let them into their parties. We’re raising buffalo, we’re raising coin for the PA and we’re making tacos. Supporting on the night will be:

All funds will be directed towards a PA system to facilitate the harmony of the club. The great flow around the venue will be assisted by a dual-stage arrangement, with a taco stand at the midway. Poetry intermission will be in effect and art supplies on hand for those willing to record the goings on. This event is held on whadjuk noongar boodjar in a place named Walyalup, we offer respect to elders past and present.
$15 waged - $10 unwaged - $10 tacos
No one turned away for lack of funds but please get in early.

Membership forms will be available on the door for any who are interested. The club is set on raising the next generation of Buffaloes. Those with the soulful character of that pure, disinterested beast. Quoting Wikipedia now, the Buffalo club was formed “for social convivial enjoyment and for benevolent purposes”. Whether you are a seasoned Buffalo, or new to its strange legacy, the convivialities must be conceived, the Buffaloes must be raised!
