Julaymba Virtual Reality Experience Launch

Richard Birchill, Phoria and Jabalbina invite you to the launch of Julaymba. This award-winning virtual reality experience of Eastern Kuku Yalanji culture and country is a cutting-edge experience that has been screened around to world and won best AXR experience in Australia in late 2023. Julaymba brings the Daintree and Yalanji culture to people wherever they can access a virtual reality headset. 

This experience will be launched in cities, museums and public venues around the country and the world in the coming months. While it is far form an advertisement it will be a powerful promotion tool sharing the sepcial experience that visiting the Daintree offers people form around the world. 

Richard and Phoria with support from Jabalbina funded this first experience and together they are working on expanding the story bringing the Daintree region and culture to the world in an innovative and impactful medium. In the week leading up to the event Phoria and Jabalbina are mapping new sites and sharing the VR experience at Mossman Gorge for visitors to enjoy.
