Event description
Heavy Metal is a molten feminist baptism and a romantic celebration of utopic potential within material change. Drawing on the labor, weight, and unpredictability of metal casting, Heavy Metal transforms the theatre into an alchemists laboratory, a metal foundry and a space for the sublime.
Chasing the charged moments when everything glows molten and unstable and full of infinite possibilities, becoming gold and revealing portals in the molten in-between.
Heavy Metal is not a finished thing but a becoming.
