Join us for the Julia Gillard Public Lecture 2026, On the Road to COP31.
The Hon Julia Gillard AC, Honorary Professor at Adelaide University and former Prime Minister of Australia, will facilitate an important conversation on the global climate agenda.
Held between the pre-COP meeting in Fiji and COP31 in Türkiye, this timely discussion will explore the significance of Australia’s COP presidency, the key issues shaping international climate negotiations, and the pathways to meaningful climate action across our region.
You are invited to join us for this timely conversation with leading voices on the challenges and opportunities ahead for Australia and the Pacific.
Professor Andrew Lowe, Director of Adelaide University’s Environment Institute, will serve as MC, drawing on his extensive expertise in environmental research and sustainability.
