    Julian is set to bring a taste of Morocco and Mali's rich musical traditions to Australian audiences, sharing the sacred sounds of traditional trance music from Northern Africa. The concert features an all-star lineup, including Malian master guitarist Moussa Diakite and Qvln from California, USA.

    Julian Belbachir's debut solo album, "Babdoukkala," made an impressive entrance, debuting in the Top 30 of the Transglobal World Music Chart. It received critical acclaim worldwide, including a prestigious 5-star review in Songlines UK. The album, which features world-class Aussie/African musicians, was listed among the top ten albums globally released that month.

    A multi-instrumentalist, Julian is proficient in playing the N’goni (African Harp), drums, and percussion. He is best known as the vibrant percussionist in the Indigenous dub band OKA, with a performance history spanning over 30 countries and notable appearances at renowned festivals such as Glastonbury Festival UK, Byron Blues Fest, Island Vibes, and Vancouver International Jazz Festival. His lifelong dedication to studying and playing the traditional folkloric music of North and West Africa has established him as a sought-after producer, composer, and musician.
