“Radiant and airy, gnarled and knotty, meditative and hypnotic” Des Cowley - Rhythms Magazine
“..mind bending solo acoustic guitar...as good or better than anyone I’ve ever heard” - Warmth Highest
Revelator: Alex Raupach & Jack Rosenweig
REVELATOR is Alex Raupach playing piano and Jack Rosenzweig playing drums.
The defiantly low-fi duo insists on music that speaks for itself rather than being spoken about. Their first recording was made on their first time playing together, lovingly enriched from voice memo mp4 my the mastering of Theo Carbo. The pieces, without discussion in advance, slowly unfold as compositional questions and answers – a patchwork dreamscape of rhythms that dance in unfamiliar ways, chords that hit the heart by surprise, and music that tells itself like a story.
