Vera Wines is all about finding your perfect bottle. Your 100% match. Their small shop in Hamilton opens you to a world of wine made by boutique, independent producers or organically farmed vineyards.
The passionate folk from Vera Wines have delved deep into the small winemakers of the Hunter Valley to bring you some special wines. To salute those taking the dry July challenge, a menu of matched zero alcohol wines will also be available. Prior to each course, Vera will walk us through a tasting of the two wine choices. You can then choose to buy a glass or a bottle of your favourite.
Learn what Florence and Josh might describe as racy, crunchy, voluptuous and bright when they talk about wines. You may find a Barbera, a Graciano or a Pecorino in your glass. Let them help you identify textures and flavours you like to help you select your 100% match next time you’re browsing the shelves.
Only opening in the evening once a month, this is a chance to enjoy a four course menu curated from the produce of the season with chef, Alex Hunter’s Michelin-starred experience in this most unexpected location.
