JUMP INTO THE FROG HOTEL: Create A Frog Habitat (Family Weekend November 2025)
Event description
Create a Frog Habitat: Jump Into the Frog Hotel!
Transform your backyard into a frog paradise these school holidays!
Do your kids (and you!) love frogs but never thought you could easily create habitat for them in your backyard?
Well, it's actually not that difficult!
Join us for our inaugural Create a Frog Habitat Workshop and watch our amphibian friends jump into your frog hotel.
It doesn't even take much room - just as much as a 30cm pot and 30 minutes in fact! All that's required is a bit of our know-how from our talented educators and the frogs will come!
Perfect for children aged 4 to 11 years old and their families
Frogs are garden game-changers!
Benefits of frogs:
Natural pest control – frogs keep insect populations under control: one frog devours up to 10,000 insects per year.
Ecosystem health – frogs are so sensitive to the environment that having frogs around is an indicator your local environment is healthy!
SAVE THE FROGS – Please Help us protect struggling Australian frog species.
Learning goldmine – Kids are fascinated by frogs, everything from their lifecycle from tadpoles & eating habits. There is so much to engage with and learn from on this day.
Low maintenance – Their habitat is self-sustaining once established!
Wildlife magnet – Attracts birds, beneficial insects, and other wonderful creatures along with your frogs.
Chemical-free gardening – Nature's own pesticide alternative, free from harmful chemicals.
Frog-song at night – the soothing soundtrack of frog song on warm nights? Nothing like it...
We want you to become a real-estate mogul and build a frog hotel!
