Bookings valid until 7:30pm on the day of your event. Please call the bar on 07 3184 5473 to confirm your booking if you will be more than 30 minutes late.

No shows are not refundable.

In the event of a lockdown in the Moreton Bay region, you'll have the option to refund or move your ticket to the next event date.

Your ticket price will go towards your first drink!

Please only book what you need, and get a refund if you find you don't need as many tickets, to give everyone a chance to enjoy the magic.

No door fee for admittance on the night, but we can't promise a seat or even standing room, depending on COVID-19 social distancing restrictions at the time.

Julian Jones and Russell Bayne are at Jumping Goats Bar every 2nd Wednesday to do their favourite thing - play music. They’re joined by friends often with similar levels of professional national and international experience, which results in a jam like no other. Always starting with their love of cafe jazz and Latin but then ranging into rock, pop, rhythm and blues, and more… the tone on the night depends on who shows up!

Julian Jones is a jazz maestro who’s played with the likes of The Doobie Brothers and Joe Cocker, and his smooth vocals and innovative blend of classical, jazz, and Latin guitar have kept him popular in the music industry for over 50 years. Born and bred on the Peninsula, he’s travelled the world including 11 years in the US and he brings those influences and experiences into his sound.

Russell Bayne is one of the most versatile guitarists in the country. With decades of touring and recording experience including playing with Chuck Berry, Shirley Bassey, Pavarotti, Jerry Lewis, The Monkees, James Morrison, Don Burrows, Bon Scott, Sophie Monk, Tina Arena, Spandau Ballet, and so many more… Russell just loves music and it shows.

This is a rare opportunity to enjoy highly skilled and experienced musicians relax and jam in their own habitat, it's always a lot of fun!

Jumping Goats Bar in Margate is a family-run neighbourhood bar, proud to showcase the best we can find in local craft beer, boutique wines, and great Australian spirits. We have a range of cheese and crackers and bar snacks, otherwise feel free to BYO food. We have the best rated Thai and Pizzeria restaurants on the Peninsula right next door, and now the best ribs at Rib Witch!
