Event description

Welcome to Australia's largest regular poetry slam!

Our feature artist this month is the inimitable (Google tells me that means "so good or unusual as to be impossible to copy; unique." which totally fits!) Jazz Money.

WOOT WOOT!!

It is the hugest honour to have her on our stage. She's a fantastic poet, a fantastic facilitator, and a fantastic human!

Grab your tix ASAP.

Here's her bio if you want to learn more >>

Jazz is a multi-award winning Wiradjuri poet and artist based on Gadigal land, Sydney. Her practice is centred around poetics while producing works that encompass installation, digital, performance, film and print. Jazz’s writing and art has been widely presented, performed and published nationally and internationally. Their first poetry collection, the best-selling how to make a basket (UQP, 2021) won the David Unaipon Award.

Our open mic is also... well, OPEN to anyone wants to come and read their work and be a part of the regular slam!
