Welcome to Australia's largest regular poetry slam!
Our feature artist this month is the inimitable (Google tells me that means "so good or unusual as to be impossible to copy; unique." which totally fits!) Jazz Money.

It is the hugest honour to have her on our stage. She's a fantastic poet, a fantastic facilitator, and a fantastic human!

Jazz is a multi-award winning Wiradjuri poet and artist based on Gadigal land, Sydney. Her practice is centred around poetics while producing works that encompass installation, digital, performance, film and print. Jazz’s writing and art has been widely presented, performed and published nationally and internationally. Their first poetry collection, the best-selling how to make a basket (UQP, 2021) won the David Unaipon Award.
Our open mic is also... well, OPEN to anyone wants to come and read their work and be a part of the regular slam!

🍉 If you are intending to sign up to perform at the slam, please book a ticket and sign up to perform at the door. We are no longer offering free artist tickets but if you you have special circumstances/are experiencing financial difficulty and need tickets, please email us!
🍉 We've changed our ticket provider to Humanitix! They give 100% of profits to education projects. If you have any feedback about the change from Eventbrite, let us know via DM or email.
🍉 Regular slam rules apply: No age restrictions/ 3 minute time limit/ no props or music/ poetry must be your original work.
🍉 The top 4 scoring artists will be granted a spot at the Grand Slam.
