Join us for a relaxed, beginner-friendly course to learn, create and connect. With strictly limited spots (maximum 6 participants). The course is intentionally intimate so everyone gets plenty of guidance and support.

Led by two local Byron Bay designers - Massuri & Dusty The Label (a 3:1 student-to-designer ratio), you’ll be gently guided through sewing basics in a relaxed, social setting. The course runs over two Saturdays (27th June & 4th July) 9am-1pm and focuses on building confidence on a sewing machine while working toward a finished reusable tote bag.

We encourage participants to bring their own sewing machine so you can gain confidence using the one you’ll have at home, though a limited number of machines are available. Overlockers are provided.

Rooted in slow fashion, natural fibres, and sustainable practices, this course is about more than just learning to sew - it’s about taking your time, building skills and leaving with something you’ve made (and a few new friends too!).
