EVENT DESCRIPTION

Join a wonderful group of women monthly (or as a one off) to discuss big issues and explore how we can process emotions and triggers through meditation, breath work and yoga.

I utilise my education as a forth year Bachelor of Social Work student and a trauma aware Yoga Teacher to present information on topics such as self-care, trauma, triggers, self-esteem, boundaries, emotional regulation, perfectionism, addiction, and more!

This month's topic is triggers. We will learn what triggers are, how they affect our brain and body, how trigger responses can be processed through yoga and breath work, and do an inner child guided meditation to explore the time this trigger was first created.

Location will be a Geelong-based location. Exact location YTBC once I confirm numbers and the size of the space required.

Although I bring knowledge and information as a result of my university studies, I am not yet a qualified Social Worker. None of the information offered in my sessions is medical advice, nor is it intended to diagnose, cure or treat any medical conditions. Any suggestions or information I offer is purely educational, and should not be regarded as medical expertise. For qualified medical advice please consult a medical professional.

During the circles I may take photos and videos that may be used in future content or promotional material. We are mindful of your space, and will not take any footage at inappropriate times. If you do not want to be in any photos or videos taken of you, please let me know so I can remove you from any content in the future.

1) PERSONAL LIABILITY STATEMENT
“I hereby declare that I have completed the health and declaration and that I participate in the workshop voluntarily and entirely at my own risk. I shall not hold Group Healing Geelong or Rachel Grant liable for any damages/injury resulting from participation in this workshop”

2) HEALTH DECLARATION
“I hereby declare that I have been adequately informed about the particulars of the Group Healing Geelong beforehand and that I am in good mental/physical condition. I shall not hold Group Healing Geelong liable for any damages/injury resulting from participation in this workshop/event. My participation is entirely at my own risk”
